Mitchell Anthony Atamian, 61, of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Mitchell was born on January 13, 1965 in Oak Lawn. He was a graduate of H.L. Richard’s high school in 1983. He was a dedicated operations manager at Aargus plastics. He had a passion for coaching his kids sporting activities. In his free time you could catch him with arrachera on the grill throwing his grandbabies in the pool.  Mitchell’s presence filled every room with warmth, laughter, and strength, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Atamian (Trolinger); children, Christina and Mitchell Atamian; his  grandchildren, Paisley and Olivia; father, Mitchell Atamian; sister, Suzanne Atamian Panozzo-Bednarke; and by two generations of nieces and nephews, to whom he was the very best uncle.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Atamian; his sisters, Antoinette Atamian and Michelle Snider(Don); and his brother-in-law, Bryan Bednarke.

Mitchell will be remembered for his kind heart, his loyalty to family, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the family he loved deeply.
